The Revive Social plugin offers the ability to add a comment to posts shared on your social media platforms. This guide will walk you through enabling this feature and customizing the comment text for better engagement.

How to Enable and Customize Comments on Shared Posts

Follow these steps to enable the comment feature and customize the comment text:

Step 1: Access the Post Format Settings

1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
2. Go to the Revive Social plugin dashboard and navigate to the Post Format tab (you should already have a social network account connected for this Tab to be active).
   

Step 2: Enable Comment Sharing

1. Scroll down to the Comment Text section.
2. Enable the option to Share the post link in the first comment by checking Yes.

Step 3: Customize the Comment Text

1. In the Comment Text field, add the text you want to display in the comment. You can include placeholders like {link} to dynamically insert the post link.
2. For example, you can write: You can read more on {link}.
3. Click Save to apply the changes.

Step 4: Verify the Feature

1. Share a post from your WordPress site using Revive Social.
2. Check the shared post on your social media platform. The comment will appear as configured, including the customized text and post link.
