How to Only Share Posts From Specific Categories With Revive Old Post

Revive Old Posts has the ability to share posts from specific categories on your website without pulling posts from other categories. 

To start off go to Revive Old Posts > Dashboard and under General Settings tab, scroll down to "Taxonomies".

NOTE:

In the Pro version of Revive Old Posts this option can be found on the Post Format screen. It will be available on a per account basis i.e you can share only Dog posts to your Dog page and Cat posts to your Cat page! 

Understanding Exclude/Include

This is the exclude option selected (with checkbox selected):

Scenario

Let's say there are 4 categories on your website:

• Category 1
• Category 2
• Category 3
• Category 4

Let's have a look at the following screenshot:

In the screenshot above ONLY posts from the following categories will be shared:

• Category 3
• Category 4

Now let's have a look at the following screenshot:

In the screenshot above  ONLY posts from the following categories will be shared:

• Category 1
• Category 2

That's it! Use the option which is most suitable for your website. It's important to mention that this area will not only show categories including those from posts and custom post types, it will also show available taxonomies on your website.
