Troubleshooting Guide for Facebook Account Connection Errors
Connecting your Facebook account to Revive Social
When connecting your Facebook account with Revive Social, after entering the credentials, if everything works as expected, you will see the following window that will close automatically after 5 seconds.
Common Authentication Errors and How to Resolve Them
Insufficient page permissions: You may not have the rights to manage the page (e.g., you're not the page owner or admin).
Solution: If you're not the page owner/admin, request that your page administrator permit you to add third-party apps.
App access restrictions: Our app may lack the required access privileges for your page.
Solution: Ensure that Revive Social has been granted all necessary permissions. Our app is approved for the highest level of access, which minimizes the risk of Facebook rejecting post-sharing requests made through our plugin.
Error getting access token: This occurs when you attempt to log in with an invalid access token, typically due to an expired session.
Solution: For access token errors, try logging out and logging back in to refresh your session.
Graph returned an error: This indicates a problem with Facebook's servers, which is beyond our control.
Solution: For Graph errors, wait a few minutes and try again. If the problem continues, you can try again later.
