Share scheduled posts to social media on publish with Revive Old Posts

With Revive Old Posts, you can automatically share posts that have been scheduled for future publication- to social media when the status changes from "Schedule" to "Publish".

To turn on the option go to General Settings on the Revive Old Posts dashboard, and scroll down to Enable Instant Sharing option

Set the option to yes and then also check the Share scheduled posts to social media on publish option:

This feature will only work for Post Types that you have selected in the Post types section: 

The feature will also automatically apply the taxonomy filters you have set. I.E: If you have taxonomies selected and also have the Exclude option checked, if your scheduled post has any of those selected taxonomies applied to it, then it would not share to social media when the post status changes to published.

The opposite also applies; if you have taxonomies selected and the Exclude option is unchecked, if your scheduled post does not have any of those selected taxonomies, it would not share to social media. 

To see the feature in action create a post in one of the post types above and set it to schedule at a future date/time:

As soon as the scheduled time is hit and the post is published by WordPress, the share will go out to social media.
